Important Changes for Social Empire Members
Social Empire concept is long due for a refresh
Over the last five years, the Social Empire concept has introduced you with places to mix, mingle and meet with all smiles and no-attitudes. We thank you for your past patronage, but we feel it’s time to do some freshening of the organization so future events will no longer be hosted under the Social Empire banner. Instead, the sister social club, Urban Mixer, will be undergoing a re-branding to bring you the same quality of events and people that Social Empire has in the past.
Ms. Frances Hui, previous host of the Social Empire, will not be part of this re-orientation. We thank Frances for past efforts, dedication and commitment to the former Social Empire and wish her only the best in her future endeavors.

Urban Mixer supports charity
The Urban Mixer cares. As part of our commitment to giving back to the community, we donate to worthy causes involving children. Urban Mixer Vancouver is committed to raising funds in the upcoming year for Make-A-Wish Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that grants wishes to terminally-ill children and creates a lasting memory for their families. We look forward to giving you additional details about the wish that we will make possible, after our initial pledge of $1000 at the Thirty Fundraiser Event on October 19th, 2006. Every time you attend an Urban Mixer Event, you’re contributing to this pledge and for making a dream come true for a terminally-ill child.

We at Urban Mixer value your privacy. With this transition, we assure that your contact information remains the private and confidential proprietary information of SSID Inc. There is an ongoing privacy concern in the organization that previous volunteers may have copied your contact information. We have requested that this information be returned however, should anyone other than myself contact you, please inform us immediately.
