The ROSSA AFFAIR VIP Bash at Clutch
On Thursday the 28th, ladies slipped on their red stilettos and men their red ties for a red hot fundraiser supporting YWCA Single Mothers’ Services.
With proceeds going straight to charity, there was also the chance to over $100,000 in prizes including a the grand prize of a Ferrari Testarossa. Tickets are still on sale as the draw occurs on the 10th of August, 2007. You can find out more, HERE.

Vancouver’s JetSet Crew held their third-annual dress in white party on Saturday, June 23rd, 2007.
This year, the event was held at Romano’s Macaroni Grill, also known as the Gabriola Mansion on Davie Street.

Late Thursday the 21st, Bacardi, Canthrill and Toronto Fashion Week’s Erika Larva held a fashion showcase at Celebrities Nightclub.
The event not only promoted great fashion by Rock & Republic, Seven, Lady Dutch, Citizens of Humanity and True Design Jewelry but also was a launch event for Bacardi’s new Raspberry Dragonfruit Breezer. DJ Erick Decks from Frankfurt Germany and DJ Jesse James set the mood by spinning the finest house tracks throughout the evening.

On the evening of the Summer Solstice, July 21st, Vancouver-based charitable oranization, the Compassionate Eye, held a wrap party for their Summer Solstice Photo Shoot in their parking lot on West 8th Avenue. Click HERE for more information.
The event, which was put on for a group of photographers and media professionals who had worked throughout the day taking photos and donating their works to a good cause featured entertainment, a barbeque and some good mingling.
The Compassionate Eye Foundation is an innovative non-profit organization based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, that is comprised of photographers and creative professionals committed to giving back. The vision of the Foundation is to support, honor, and empower those in developing nations in order to expand educational opportunities, basic health services, and tools for economic development.

Tyler Tokai and Colin Jack put on an event on Thursday the 21st to inform the media about their upcoming beer-oriented events including the Canada Cup of Beer which will take place at UBC’s Thunderbird Stadium. Click HERE for more information.
The media event took place behind the security gates at the John Molson Academy which is conveniently located on the second floor of the Molson Brewery.
The 2007 Canada Cup of Beer promises to provide tastings of over 125 beers in a great festival atmosphere and will raise funds for the Vancouver TheareSports League.

On June 20th, the Pacific Pallisades Hotel hosted The Grand Collaboration luxury item showcase which included four custom-designed Steinway pianos, a Lotus parked in the venue’s Art+Soul gallery, real estate advisory services by Karim Virani’s firm and more.
The 150th Anniversary Limited Edition Lagerfeld Model A Steinway was one of the attractions on display Wednesday evening at the event that fit into the majorly cool category. The pianos which were on display belong to Steinway of New York.

Toratatsu, Vancouver’s newest Japanese tapas-style izakaya restaurant celebrated their opening on Tuesday, June 19th, 2007.
The restaurant, located at 735 Denman, in the former location of Clove, is owned by the Uno family which also owns Shiru Bay Chopstick Cafe in Yaletown and over a dozen other restaurants in Japan.

Late, Friday night, Shine Nightclub at 364 Water Street hosted superstar rapper Lady Sovereign.
Lady Sovereign put on a good show at the afterparty and reports from the crowd said that she was the highlight of the Gwen Stefani, AKON and Lady Sov concert earlier in the evening.
