Wine tasting at the Britannia Wine Merchants has taken the art of wine to a new level. As Steve Goldsworthy, Manager of Britannia, explained “we want to take the mystique out of wine tasting.”
On August 23rd Britannia held a wine-tasting event that featured wines ranging from crisp Whites to extra dry Roses and robust, flavourful Reds. With all ticket proceeds going to such charities as the Mustard Seed Street Ministry, the Drop-In Centre and the Sheriff King Home, Britannia is hoping to not only bring wine to a broader market but to positively impact the local demographic. Britannia holds a wine tasting event every month with all proceeds going to charity.
