On Thursday evening, Auto West BMW held the ‘Green Opening’ of their new eco-friendly luxury car showroom in Richmond, BC.

The hundreds of attendees who checked out the $17 million 1.5 hectare retail centre were not dissapointed. Tasty treats, free flowing drinks, valet parking, exotic BMWs including the 2007 BMW B7 Alpina and loads of entertainment made for THE launch party to be at this week.

RICHMOND, BC – September 21, 2007

WHAT:

Auto West BMW is officially opening its new ‘green’ car showroom with BMW Group Canada and the
City of Richmond.

In an innovative approach to automobile retailing, the new facility utilizes a number of eco-friendly
features for the first time in luxury automotive retailing. Information will be provided on the building’s
geothermal, water recirculation and green roof systems.

See how this retail centre will fit into Richmond and Metro Vancouver’s plan to become a leader on the
world map in environmental sustainability, while serving the people who live there.
A tour of the facilities detailing the building’s green features will be provided, in addition to the planting
of the complex’s final tree.

Light appetizers and refreshments will be served.
