2nd Annual Pret-A-Pour Tea
On Tuesday afternoon, Ask A Woman Enterprises hosted the second annual High Tea and High Fashion Fundraising Event for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, BC/Yukon Chapter at the Fish House in Stanley Park.
The event sold out and was a huge success. The silent auction with premium items as well as the designs by Jacqueline Conoir, Blushing Designs and Chloë Angus which hit the runway helped raise funds for this worthy cause. As a unique twist, designer Chloë Angus used breast cancer survivors as her models.

High Tea & High Fashion Fundraising Event for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, BC/Yukon Chapter (CBCF) at The Fish House in idyllic Stanley Park!
On Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. join us for High Tea, fabulous fashions and superb shopping, “Silent Auction Style”. Proceeds will be donated to the CBCF to help advance breast cancer detection, treatment and cure, to create a future without breast cancer.
This year’s event features Winter & Spring 07/08 fashions from Vancouver’s own hot designers: Jacqueline Conoir and Blushing Designs to name a few. The Fish House is the ideal setting for this preview of fashion “Vancouver Style” ~ up close in a classic tea room fashion show with a glass of bubbly followed with a selection of fine teas, savory sandwiches, scrumptious scones and melt in your mouth desserts prepared specially by celebrated chef, Karen Barnaby. MC and host for the afternoon is ever popular, Tamara Taggert, from CTV. Media sponsors are The Vancouver Sun and Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine.
Tickets are $85. Tables are selling fast.
