Official VIBC 2008 City of Bhangra Afterparty
On Saturday night, the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration Society took the term ‘afterparty’ to a new level with an event like no other in Gastown’s now defunct Storyeum.
Birinder Narang aka Bear warmed up the crowd for performances by En Karma and international sensation, Malkit Singh, while members of competing teams including the VIBC 2008 winners, Duniya Dance Academy’s Co-ed Allstars, and other artists and performers from the local South Asian arts scene partied on.
