On Monday, March 17th, John Fluevog opened the doors to his new studio and store on Water Street. The return of John Fluevog, world renown shoemaker, to Gastown after almost 30 years.

The event, chock full of Vancouver’s media types, titled ‘John Fluevog walks on Water,’ aptly served Johnnie Walker and food provided by OPUS Hotel’s outside catering division in the space formerly known as Richard Kidd, a place “for those who don’t have fashion sense - and feel ok with paying someone to have it for them,” which mysteriously closed a few months ago.
