On May 30th, we were invited to check out the summertime offerings at Provence Marinaside in Yaletown and we were definitely impressed.

Chef and Proprietor Jean Francis Quaglia, who’s worked at places including the world-famed Hotel Negresco in Nice, entertained the media-only group with ten of his very best including a very special dish with in-season spot prawns. Sommelier, Rachelle Goudreau, fresh in from a trip to the interior, entertained guests with a sampling of Black Hills 2007 Chardonnay, Kettle Valley’s 2007 Pinot Gris, Joie’s 2007 Rose and Sandhill’s 2006 Gamay Noir.
