Metro Restaurant Celebrates One Year

Metro Restaurant, purveyor of Metropolitan Canadian cuisine using seasonal and sustainable ingredients, celebrated their successful completion of one year on Tuesday evening.

You and a guest are cordially invited to join us for an evening of sampling delicious canapés made of British Columbia’s organic products.

The following canapés will be featured during the tasting:

  • Sesame Crusted Chicken
  • espellette hazelnut purée, chilli oil, lime
  • Spot Prawn Dumpling
  • crispy chicken skin, honey vinegar emulsion
  • Spicy Potato Bahji Dumpling
  • shredded potato, spinach, chilli peppers, yogurt
  • Dungeness Crab Salad
  • radish rounds, cognac – tomato aioli, micro chives
  • Spicy BC Lamb Pastry
  • lamb sausage, cayenne pepper, chickpeas, minted yogurt dip
  • Swift River Beef Tenderloin
  • double smoked bacon, melted leek, chipotle BBQ
  • Local Beach Oyster Shooter
  • clamato, tabasco, fresh horseradish, grey goose
  • Cheddar Potato Croquette
  • crème friache, scallion, bacon lardon

Beverages will include a selection of British Columbia wines, beers and beverages.
