Submerged at Isabella Egan Gallery

Isabella Egan Gallery on Abbott Street hosted the opening of a photographic exhibition by one of Vancouver’s hottest photographers, Jordan Junck, on Wednesday, July 30th.

OPUS Bar hosted the finale of the Van Gogh Live Art Series on Thursday, July 24th.

The event, dubbed as Live Art Creation + Liquid Art Consumption, had two local artists, Scott Sueme and Colin Moore collaborate live on their respective canvases, while DJ Rachel Sehl played funk and old school, and Van Gogh rep Vanessa Queyranne poured samples of the Singapore Sunflower featuring Van Gogh Gin.

LOLcat Art at Clack Clack Empire

Clack Clack Empire held an opening for a LOLcat art show featuring the works of Seattle-based Marianne Goldin on Monday.

The clothing and effects store that carries small, rad labels, and doubles as a Gallery, is located in Shanghai Alley just steps away from the gates of Chinatown. Erin M. Edwards, the Boss Lady, owns the store, Vincent Parker curates.

Art Up High with Doris MacDougall

The Vancouver Lookout, one of the highest points in BC, opens their doors to the public on a monthly basis for an artist’s reception at “The Armstrong Gallery & Exhibition Centre.”

On Thursday, July 17th, the featured artist, North Vancouver’s Doris MacDougall, presented her ‘Garden Fragments’ exhibition – live painted flowers and other scenes from her garden which are drawn throughout the year.
