18th Annual Easter Seals Regatta & Festival
On Saturday, August 23rd, the National Bank Financial Easter Seals Regatta & Festival kicked off in English Bay.
Over a dozen skippers signed up to compete for top prize in the pursuit formatted race which inlcuded a staggered start based on a boat’s handicap. This year’s race went by relatively quickly, with ample wind power to move the boats through the course.
After the race concluded, skippers, crews, media, guests and the public gathered at Hastings Mill Park on Point Grey Road next to the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club for food, entertainment, a silent auction, beer gardens and more. Find out more about the Easter Seals Regatta, on their website, HERE.
