Boneta’s Justin Tisdall is Gibson’s Iron Bar Champion for BC

Vancouver, BC (October 10, 2008) British Columbia gave us something to toast last week as local bartenders went head to head in the Gibson’s Iron Bar competition.

The four BC finalists won great reviews from the judges but only one was crowned the winner for the British Columbia division of Gibson’s Iron Bar. Justin Tisdall from Boneta Restaurant was the bartender responsible for the winning drink. Justin’s drink was named “We Give 110″, because Canadian Football fields are 110 yards as opposed to the American 100. To recreate Justin’s winning drink recipe, mix:

2oz Gibson’s Finest Canadian Whisky
.5oz Maple Syrup
.25 oz Agave Syrup
2oz Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
Fresh Cracked pepper
(Shaken and double strained over fresh rocks)

Justin will be flown to Montreal to compete for the grand prize of $1000 or tickets to the 2008 Grey Cup. The winner of the final competition will be named the Iron Bar Champion, and their drink will be crowned the “Gibson Cup”.
