Canapes by Nu Restaurant, fashion show, night of shopping for clothes by Jacqueline Conoir and jewellery by Dyberg & Kern, casino festivities and giving back to assist in funding for the Aboriginal Mother’s Centre Society Project a new building for single mothers and their children in the Downtown Eastside; development of the building is scheduled to commence next year.
Global TV’s Welsa Wong who is going to wed next year in February 2009 won the JC Studio gown for her Maid of Honor for having the highest winnings from the night and Publicist Malinda Allanson is also scheduled to have her baby in February 2009.
