What’s better than relaxing with your friends over a few beers? Making new friends at a beerfest! On Saturday night, rather than dodging bullets on the Granville Strip, we decided to check out the Vancouver Alpen Club in East Vancouver.

The evening’s festivities included live music by Al Pichler & the Alpiners (think of your favourite tunes from the Wedding Singer), a Spring Queen competition (congrats to Jeannie Killen from Victoria, interviewed HERE), two beers to choose from (Warsteiner and Konig Ludwig Weissbier), pretzels and loads of different sausages to taste.
