A flight with the Fraser Blues

Saturday, September 26th, 2009

On September 20th,  a small group of lucky individuals set off to take a flight with the Fraser Blues.

A flight with the Fraser Blues Formation Demonstration Team

Flying within six feet of each other is standard fare for the group of five who call themselves the Fraser Blues Formation Demonstration Team. They fly the Navion, a single-engine, four-seat aircraft built in the 1940s and they do so with class.

As part of the afternoon, the group flew over Harrison Hot Springs, landed on Sandpiper Golf Club and took in lunch at Rowena’s Inn on the River.

After lunch, all five planes returned to Langley Regional Airport – but not without first handing the controls over to the passengers to try out for themselves.

Overall, the experience was exhilirating and worthy of mention. If you ever get a chance to fly with the Blues, go for it. You can find our more about the Fraser Blues HERE.
