Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009On Saturday, July 18th, Variety – the Children’s Charity hosted the Summer Concert Series Vol. 1, Pop Culture Exclusive at the River Rock Show Theatre in Richmond.
Danny Fernandes, Jake White, Emmalyn Estrada, Di’Ja and Elise Estrada all took the stage and performed to live fashion by Bedo, Parasuco, The Penniless Fashionista and Jolie Couture. Over 450 people attended including Vancouver’s own Faber Drive and Dog the Bounty Hunter, and all proceeds from the event benefitted Variety – the Children’s Charity.
The event’s itinerary also included a VIP-only reception with the performers, a silent and live auction with one-of-a-kind items and an after party in the Resort’s Whistler Ballroom.

Waterboy Breakfast at the Richmond Oval
Saturday, February 21st, 2009On Friday, February 20th, the Waterboys held their biggest-ever breakfast at the newly-minted 380,000 sq.ft Olympic Speed Skating Oval in Richmond.
Attendees including the Mayor of Richmond and new Waterboy inductee, Malcolm Brodie, along with players Angus Reid and Jason Jimenez enjoyed the speeches, finding out about upcoming BC Lions events and breakfast, generously provided by the evetn’s sponsors.
