Warner Home Video Product Showcase featuring Inception in Yaletown’s most exclusive room.

The Warner Home Video Product Showcase was held i the secret back room at V (Earls Restaurant – Yaletown). The big feature for the product showcase was the box-office hit movie “Inception“.

Among the guests at the event were Marisa Russo and morning show host, Jennifer Thomson.

The event also saw entertainment reporter Thor Diakow and noted Vancouver photographer Jonathan Evans.

The Warner Home Video Product Showcase, which was held from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, featured Chris Lewchuk, the publicity manager at Warner Home Video, dressed up as Freddy Krueger from the 1980s movie “Nightmare on Elm Street“.

Sales and Event Coordinator of V Yaletown and Rebecca Olson was also on hand at the Warner Home Video Product Showcase. Robyn Goetz, Riaz Meghji, and Dyan Eaton also attended the event.

Warner Home Video – True Blood Showcase

On March 25th, Warner Home Videos launched its product showcase at the Hennessy Dining Lounge on West Broadway.  The event, hosted by Chris Lewchuk, launched the product offerings of Warner Home Video for April to June 2010. Some of the home video products offered during the event included the following:  the complete Sixth Season of Entourage, Life (narrated by Oprah Winfrey), Elmo and Friends, Hung and True Blood.

  • The complete sixth season of Entourage will be available on June 22nd. This Emmy and Golden Globe nominated feature includes guest appearances by A-list celebrities including Jay Leno, Lebron James, Zach Efron and many more.
  • The Oprah Winfrey narrated version of Life premiered on Discovery Channel and Discovery Channel HD last March 21st. The home video offering will be available on June 1st, 2010. It includes eleven episodes in standard DVD and Blu-rayversions with English, Spanish and French subtitles.
  • The video of everybody’s favorite red monster will be available of May 4th, 2010.  The product offering will feature special appearances by Jason Mraz, Adam Sandler, David Beckham and other big-name celebrities.
  • The second most popular HBO series, Hung, will be available and on the market as of June 22nd. The series, second only to True Blood in popularity, stars Thomas Jane as a guy who gets paid to get laid – a male escort. This home video product has ten episodes as well as a couple of special features including the Women of Hung.
  • The complete second season of the top-selling DVD last year, True Blood, will be available on May 25th, 2010.  The video series, which stars Canadian-born actress Anna Paquin, will be available on standard DVD and blu-ray. It includes 12 episodes of the second season, a vampire news report, character perspectives, pro and anti vampire messaging, hints and FYIs.

When the host rose up from his seat, he looked as if he just came from that small town somewhere in Louisiana. He dressed the part to showcase the main product offering of the Warner Home Video Showcase – True Blood.
